Brian joined Lansdowne Partners in January 2021 as Co-Managing Partner and is the Chair of the Management Committee.

Brian has over 30 years’ experience in global financial markets, investment banking and asset management. He joined from HSBC Asset Management, where he his role was Global Head of Institutional Business.

Before that he spent a decade in senior management roles in HSBC Global Banking and Markets; his last role was Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group.  Before joining HSBC in 2006, he held senior client and management roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan.
